Sensex climbed 443 points on Monday at 82,200
On the second trading day of the week, on today i.e. Tuesday, July 22, the Sensex climbing 200 points to be trading above 82,400. The Nifty has a gain of about 70 points, it is trading at the level of 25,150.
The Sensex has a rise in 18 out of 30 shares and a decline in 12. Jomato shares have climbed 10% after a better quarterly results. Shares of Bajaja Finance, Trent, ICICI Bank and Bajaj Finance have up to 1%. Bajaj Finserv, Infosys and Kotak Mahindra Bank shares decline.
Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 28 declines and 22 declines. NSE media, metal and banking sectors have climbed. At the same time, IT, pharma and auto sectors are declining today.
Mixed business in global market
- In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at 39,893 levels at 39,893 and Korea’s Cospie is trading at 3,190.
- Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 25,012 up to 25,012 and China’s Shanghai Composite climbing 0.24% to 3,568.
- On July 21, the US Dow Jones fell 0.043% to close at 44,323. At the same time, Nasdaq composite climbed 0.38% to 20,974 and S&P 500 closed at 6,305 above 0.14%.
21 July DIIS bought shares worth Rs 2,104 crore
- On July 21, Foreign Investors (Fiis) sold shares worth Rs 1,681.23 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 3,578.43 crore.
- So far, foreign investors have sold shares worth Rs 18,636.98 crore in July. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of Rs 25,471.95 crore during this period.
- Net purchases of foreign investors in June stood at Rs 7,488.98 crore. At the same time, domestic investors also purchased a net purchase of ₹ 72,673.91 crore in a month.

The Sensex climbed 443 points to close at 82,200 on Monday (July 21) on the first trading day of the week. From the lowest level of the day, it recovered about 700 points. Here, the Nifty also rose by 122 points, it closed at 25,091 levels.
Out of 30 Sensex’s 30 shares, there was a rise in 18 and 12 declined. The share of Eternal (Zomato) closed 7.5% climbing 7.5% due to better quarterly revenue. Shares of ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and M&M also increased by 2.70%. Reliance fell by 3.23%. HCL Tech, HUL and TCS closed down.
Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 28 rose, 21 declined, one closed without change. NSE metal, private banking, financial services and auto sectors were boom. At the same time, oil and gas, PSU Banking, IT, FMCG and pharma shares closed down.
