In the Sensex today i.e. on Monday, July 28, 300 points are trading at 81,150 levels. The Nifty also falls by 50 points, it is trading at the level of 24,780.

The Sensex declines 16 out of 30 shares and a rise in 14. Kotak Bank shares have fallen 5.5%. TCS and Infosys are 1.5 below. Tata Motors and Bajaj Finserv have a rise of 1.4%.

The Nifty’s 50 shares decline in 25 and 25. The NSE’s realty indept has fallen 2.16%. Private banks, ITs and media also have a decline of up to 1%. Auto and FMCG are above.

Mixed business in global market

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at a level of 41,148 below 0.74% and Korea’s Cospie at 3,191 above 0.15%.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 25,484 above 0.38% and China’s Shanghai Composite falls 0.17% to 3,587.
  • On July 25, the US Dow Jones climbed 0.47% to close at 44,694. At the same time, Nasdaq composites closed at 21,058 above 0.24% and S&P 500 at 6,389 above 0.40%.

On July 25, FIIS sold shares worth Rs 1,980 crore

  • On 25 July, Foreign Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,979.96 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 2,138.59 crore.
  • So far, foreign investors have sold shares worth Rs 30,508.66 crore in July. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of Rs 39,825.97 crore during this period.
  • Net purchases of foreign investors in June stood at Rs 7,488.98 crore. At the same time, domestic investors also purchased a net purchase of ₹ 72,673.91 crore in a month.

The stock market dropped 721 points on Friday

The Sensex fell 721 points to close at 81,463 on Friday (July 25) on the last trading day of last week. The Nifty fell by 225 points, it closed at 24,837 levels.

Of the 30 shares of the Sensex, 29 declined and only one increased. Bajaj Finance shares fell 4.78%. 15 shares, including Power Grid, Tech Mahindra and Bajaj Finserv, declined by 1% to 2.6%.

43 out of 50 shares of Nifty declined while only 7 rose. The NSE media index was the highest 2.61%, 1.70%in government banking, 1.64%in metal, 1.42%in IT and 1.27%in auto. Pharma closed up 0.54%.
