Reliance Jio has launched its Jio PC in the Indian market today (29 July). The company says that this is India’s first AI-Ready Cloud-based virtual desktop platform.
In simple words, now you do not need to buy expensive laptops or desktops. With the help of this platform, you can convert your TV or any screen into high-end computer.
This service can be activated at an initial price of Rs 599 a month. At the same time, its annual plan is Rs 4,599. New users will get this service free for one month.
How does JIOPC work?
JioPC is a cloud-based computer that gives you a powerful computer experience without purchasing heavy hardware. For this you just need a Jio set-top box, keyboard and mouse. It is available for Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fiber users.
To start this, you have to download the Jio PC app in the Jio set-top box. You have to login with your Jio number on the app and your cloud computer will be ready. That is, you can run it through your TV or JioPC app on any screen.
This platform is immediately booted, there is no lag in it and it is also safe from virus or hacking. The special thing is that you have neither tension to upgrade hardware, nor a mess of maintenance. It runs on the cloud, ie all the data and processing are on Jio’s superfast servers.
