In April, Google’s parent company Alphabet said that it would spend 6.25 lakh crore rupees to increase the capacity of data centers worldwide this year.

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that three cable landing stations will also be built in Visakhapatnam. This will allow high-speed data transfer. Investment of 1.6 GW of capacity in the state has been finalized. The goal is to prepare a 6 GW capacity data center in the next 5 years.
