The Sensex is trading at 80,850 levels on the second trading day of the week i.e. on Tuesday, August 5, at 80,850. The Nifty also declines by about 50 points, it is at 24,700 levels.

Of the 30 shares of the Sensex, 15 are rose and 15 declines. Shares of Maruti, HCL Tech and Bajaj Finance are up more than 1%. HUL, HDFC Bank and Infosys shares have a slight decline.

Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 25 is rose and 25 declines. The NSE media, metal, banking and pharma shares are boom. IT, FMCG and auto have fallen.

Mixed business in Asian market, US declines

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at a level of 40,544 below 0.63% and Korea’s Kospi is trading up to 3,181 above 1.07%.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 24,763 above 0.12% and China’s Shanghai Composite climbing 0.53% to 3,602.
  • On August 4, the US Dow Jones climbed 1.34% to close at 44,174. At the same time, Nasdaq Composite closed at 21,054 above 1.95% and S&P 500 closed at 6,330 above 1.47%.

Fiis on 4 August 2,567 Sold shares worth crores of rupees

  • On August 4, Foreign Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 2,566.51 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 4,386.29 crore.
  • In July, foreign investors have sold shares worth Rs 47,666.68 crore. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of Rs 60,939.16 crore during this period.
  • Net purchases of foreign investors in June stood at Rs 7,488.98 crore. At the same time, domestic investors also purchased a net purchase of ₹ 72,673.91 crore in a month.

Sensex closed by climbing 419 points yesterday

The Sensex climbed 419 points to close at 81,019 on Monday (August 4) on the first trading day of the week. The Nifty also rose by 157 points, closed at 24,723.

The Sensex declined by 26 out of 30 shares and 4 declined. A total of 12 shares rose from 1% to 4%. Tata Steel’s stock rose 4%. The shares of BEL and Adani Ports closed from 3%. Shares of Power Grid, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank fell.

Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 43 rose and 7 declined. Except for FMCG, all the NSE index climbed and closed. 2.48%in Nifty metal, 1.77%in realty, 1.61%in auto, 1.60%in IT, 1.51%in media and 1.26%in PSU banking.
