A young businessman from Mumbai suddenly met Popular Billionaire and Jodhoda co-founder Nikil Kamat. A startup founder named Yash Gavade has shared this incident in his Linkedin Post. He told that this sentence happened when Nikhil Kamat suddenly arrived at a restaurant in Mumbai.

Gavade gave Nikhil a hand written note on paper, which contained his startup. Yash Gavade requested to work with Nikhil’s team in the note. This incident is now becoming viral on social media.

Meet in cafe

The story is from 26 August 2025, when Yash Gavade went to meet everyone in Mumbai with his friend and venture capitalist Akash Sood. Both first sat on the floor below, but later Akash suggested that there is a more comfortable place on the top floor.

Yash says, we went upstairs and sat there and started talking on topics like pitching and storytelling. Akash was telling me how VC thinks and how to present Idea. Meanwhile, Yash’s eye went to a private room, where Nikhil Kamat was sitting with a group.

Yash says, both of us were surprised. Akash immediately asked if I had a business material. But I did not even have a business card. Then Akash advised, do it now, every opportunity should be redeemed. Yash torn a page from his diary and wrote a note quickly, in which he told about his startup bihukd, who works in the video AI space.

Note sent with the help of waiter

Yash turned the note and requested the cafe staff to reach Nikhil. He says, I did not want to interfere in his group meeting, so sought help from the waiter. The staff was very collaborative and took the note to Nikhil.

In the note, Yash wrote, Hi Nikhil, I am your big fan and respect you the things you have very much. I am Yash Gavade, a initial startup founder in the video AI space. I have created an AI agent that prepares videos for social media. I apologize if this time is not right, but I tried to take a chance. I would like to join you or your team.

Nikhil reacted immediately after reading the note

After receiving the note, Nikhil read him carefully. Yash says, he read the note, looked up, smiled and shook me and said hi. That two second moment made my whole day special. While sharing this incident on social media, Yash wrote, “Take a chance, don’t know which opportunity should work.”
