In the festive season, Indian Railways has given a good news for passengers. Return ticket booking for Diwali and other upcoming festivals will now get a discount of 20%.

This will benefit those who use the train to go home and come back. Railways have taken this decision in view of the crowd and problems of the people for tickets during festivals.

However, the benefit of this exemption will be available only when the passengers will book both tickets simultaneously and all the details given in the ticket will be united. That is, where to go from where to go, things like passenger name, age, distance should be one in both tickets. This railway scheme will be applicable for travel between 13 October to 1 December 2025.
