On Tuesday, (July 22), the Sensex fell 14 points to close at 82,187. The Nifty also fell by 30 points, it closed at 25,061 levels.
Today, on the third trading day of the week, i.e. Wednesday, July 23, the Sensex is trading at 82,450 points by 250 points. The Nifty has a gain of about 80 points, it is trading at the level of 25,130.
Of the 30 shares of the Sensex, 27 is rose and 3 declines. Shares of Tata Motors, Airtel and Adani Ports have climbed 1%. SBI, Titan and UltraTech Cement shares have fallen.
Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 40 are rose and 10 declines. The realty sector of NSE has fallen by more than 1.50%. Apart from this, all sector shares including metal, pharma, auto are trading by climbing.
Mixed business in global market
- In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at a level of 41,053 at 41,053 and Korea’s Cospie is trading at 3,170 above 0.022%.
- Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading up 0.98% at 25,375 and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,608 at 3,608.
- On July 22, the US Dow Jones climbed 0.40% to close at 44,502. At the same time, Nasdaq composite closed at 20,892 below 0.39% and S&P 500 closed at 6,310 above 0.064%.
22 July DIIS bought shares worth Rs 3,550 crore
- On July 22, Foreign Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 3,548.92 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 5,239.77 crore.
- So far, foreign investors have sold shares worth Rs 22,185.90 crore in July. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of Rs 30,711.72 crore during this period.
- Net purchases of foreign investors in June stood at Rs 7,488.98 crore. At the same time, domestic investors also purchased a net purchase of ₹ 72,673.91 crore in a month.
The stock market was flat yesterday
The Sensex fell 14 points to close at 82,187 on Tuesday, (July 22) on the second trading day of the week. The Nifty also fell by 30 points, it closed at 25,061 levels.
The Sensex declined 12 out of 30 shares and a decline in 18. The share of Eternal (Zomato) closed up 10.32% due to better quarterly revenue. The shares of Titan, BEL and HUL climbed by climbing 1%.
16 out of 50 shares of Nifty rose, 33 declined, one closed without change. All the NSE sectors closed and closed. Most of the media, 2.27%, government banking 1.57%, pharma and realty 1% and auto 0.74% declines.
