On Monday (July 28), the Sensex fell 572 points to close at 80,891 levels. The Nifty also fell by 156 points, it closed at 24,681 levels.

On the second trading day of the week, on today i.e. Tuesday, July 29, the Sensex is trading at 80,800 points. The Nifty declines by 20 points, it is at 24,660 levels.

The Sensex has a rise in 16 of 30 shares and a decline in 14. The shares of BEL, Jomato and Infosys have a decline of up to 2%. Adani Ports, Reliance and HCL Tech have a slight rise.

30 out of 50 shares of Nifty are rose and 20 declines. NSE’s IT, media and private banks have fallen. At the same time, there is a slight rise in auto, metal and realty stocks.

Mixed business in global market

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at a level of 40,623 below 0.91% and Korea’s Kospi is trading at 3,228 above 0.59%.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 25,562 at 25,562 and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading 0.076% to 3,595.
  • On July 28, the US Dow Jones fell 0.14% to close at 44,838. At the same time, Nasdaq composite closed at 21,179 above 0.24% and S&P 500 was closed at 6,390 above 0.018%.

  • On July 28, Foreign Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 6,082.47 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 6,764.55 crore.
  • So far, foreign investors have sold shares worth Rs 36,591.13 crore in July. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of Rs 46,590.52 crore during this period.
  • Net purchases of foreign investors in June stood at Rs 7,488.98 crore. At the same time, domestic investors also purchased a net purchase of ₹ 72,673.91 crore in a month.

The Nifty’s 50 shares declined by 35 and 15 declined. The NSE realty index dropped the highest 4.07%. In addition, media 2.70%, private bank 1.65%, government bank 1.20% and metal 1.15% closed down.
