On the first trading day of the week today i.e. on Monday, July 11, the Sensex is trading at the level of 80,050 by climbing 200 points. The Nifty also has a gain of 50 points, it is above 24,400.

Of the 30 shares of the Sensex, there is a rise in 20 and a decline in 10. Shares of SBI, NTPC and Trent have climbed 1%. There is a slight decline in ICICI Bank, Asian Paints and Bajaj Finserv.

Out of 50 shares of Nifty, there is a rise in 30 and a decline in 15. The NSE’s PSU banking index is the highest growth of 1.5%. Auto, metal, realty and pharma are also up. IT, FMCG and consumer durables decline.

Global market boom

  • Korea’s cospie is trading at 3,215 in Asian markets at 3,215. Nikkei of Japan is closed today.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 24,911 above 0.21% and China’s Shanghai Composite climbing 0.51% to 3,653.
  • On August 8, the US Dow Jones climbed 0.47% to close at 44,175. At the same time, Nasdaq Composite closed at 21,450 above 0.98% and S&P 500 was closed at 6,389 above 0.78%.

DIIS on 8 August ₹ 7,724 Buy shares worth crores of rupees

  • On August 8, Foreign Investors (FIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 1,932.81 crore in the cash segment and Rs 7,723.66 crore by domestic investors (DIS).
  • In August, foreign investors have sold shares worth ₹ 14,018.87 crore so far. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of Rs 36,795.52 crore during this period.
  • In July, foreign investors sold shares worth a total of Rs 47,666.68 crore. At the same time, domestic investors also purchased a net of ₹ 60,939.16 crore in a month.

The market fell 765 points on Friday

The Sensex fell 765 points to close at 79,857 on Friday, August 8, the last trading day of the week. After 4 months, it has come below 80 thousand. Earlier on May 9, the market came to 79,454.

The Nifty also fell by 246 points, it closed at 24,350. Of the 30 shares of the Sensex, there was a rise in 5 and a decline in 25. Metal, IT, Auto and Realty sector shares declined significantly.
