Prime Minister Narendra Modi today i.e. on August 2, the 20th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme will be released at 11 am. PM Modi will release 20th installment from Varanasi Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier on 24 February, the 19th installment of the PM-Kisan Yojana was released. Then an amount of Rs 22,000 crore was transferred to the bank accounts of 9.8 crore farmers.

Under this scheme, 2-2 thousand rupees are transferred to the farmers’ account every year in three installments. The first installment between April-July, the second installment is released between August-November and the third installment between December-March.

What to do if the installment has not come? If you are having any problem in registration of this scheme, or there is any problem related to your installment, or any other question, then you have to go to the help desk in Farmer Corner on the official website of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

After clicking on the help desk, enter your Aadhaar number, account number or mobile number here. Clicking gate details will make a query form. Here options related to account number, payment, Aadhaar and other problems are given in drop down. Select it according to your problem and also write its details below. Now submit it.

Eligible beneficiaries of the scheme can also be registered through the Common Service Center (CSC). Apart from this, local patwari, revenue officer and nodal officers noded by the state government for the scheme are registering the farmers.

Earlier only small and marginal farmers used to benefit Initially when the PM-Kisan Yojana was launched (February, 2019), its benefit was only for the families of small and marginal farmers. It consisted of farmers who had a combined land holding (joint land) up to 2 hectares. The scheme was revised in June 2019 and its scope was extended.

However, some farmers are still excluded from the scheme. Those who were excluded from the PM farmer are institutional land holders, farmer families sitting in constitutional positions, serving or retired officers and employees of the state or central government. It also includes public sector undertakings and official autonomous body officials-employees.

Apart from these, professionals like doctors, engineers and lawyers, as well as retired pensioners with monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 and income tax filling in the previous assessment year have also been excluded from this scheme.
